Reporting to the Senior Surveyor you will assist the Senior Surveyor to manage and coordinate survey office/field activities to provide appropriate survey service to construction, mine planning, reconciliation and design personnel to enable accurate design, construction and mine planning of all site activities; communicate openly and honestly at all times; actively contribute to positive teamwork environment at all times; assist to ensure that safety procedures and systems are implemented and adhered to.
Requirements for this position preferably Tertiary qualification in Geodetic Engineering / Surveying with minimum of 2 years experience in similar role in large open cut mining operation. Has experience in people management; demonstrate sound use of Terramodel or other Surveying Software packages, hold Driving Licence (SIM A) and troubleshoot technical issues with RTK GPS and Total Stations; good analytical thinking; strong leadership skills; excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written; and computer literate is a must.
